Educational Therapy Services
Educational Therapy offers children and adults with learning disabilities and other learning challenges a wide range of intensive, individualized interventions designed to remediate learning problems. Educational therapists create and implement a treatment plan that utilizes information from a variety of sources including the client’s social, emotional, psychoeducational, and neuropsychological context.
Prior to starting, students are assessed to determine their individual needs. An initial assessment includes academic and processing evaluation with a written report detailing the test scores and the student’s strengths and weaknesses. Program recommendations are provided.

EIS takes a whole child approach when working with a child with a Learning Disability. We see the child in the context of the school, family, and peers and help to address a child’s social and emotional needs as well as academic concerns and processing challenges.

Lili Walker has a M.A. in Special Education, with an emphasis on Learning Disabilities from Chapman University. She has a Resource Specialist Credential and a Multiple Subjects Elementary Credential. Lili has over 12 years of broad experience in education, ranging from 1st-8th grades, General Education and Special Education (LO). Through her diverse experience she has developed a vast array of strategies across the curriculum which allow her teaching methodologies to be individualized to students unique learning modalities. She has taught from a variety of Reading programs including: Orton-Gillingham, SRA, Lindamood Bell, Read Naturally, Reading Recovery and Dystar. In Math she has worked with the Common Core Series, “Bridges”, “Touch Math”, “Facts Wise”, amongst others. Lili offers a unique individual touch in working with her students, allowing for each student to build character, self-esteem with fun and creativity.
